Changing your Jane Websites password is quick and easy, whether you're doing it for security reasons or if you just want a fresh start. In this article, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process to update your password and what to do if you’ve forgotten your current one.
 

Before you start

You’ll need access to the email address used to create your website.

 


How to Change Your Password

You can update your password at any time through your Jane Websites admin dashboard.

  1. First, you'll want to log in to the Admin side of Jane Websites.
  2. Click the circle icon in the right corner to open the profile menu.
  3. Click Change Password in the dropdown menu. 
  4. Enter your new password in the fields provided.
  5. Click Save Password to confirm the change


How to Reset Your Password

If you’ve forgotten your password and can’t log in, follow these steps to reset it and regain access.

  1. Go to the bottom of Jane Websites and click Login. 
  2. On the login page, click Forgot My Password. 
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  4. Check your inbox for an email with a temporary password, and use the temporary password to log in.
  5. Once you're logged in, follow the steps above to change your password to a secure and memorable password.


You're all set! Whether you changed your password or reset it, your account’s updated credentials are now active. Great job keeping your clinic’s site secure!
 

Note

Temporary passwords expire and can only be used once. Be sure to change it after logging in.
