Jane Websites is a website hosting platform. We do not host email in any capacity, so our support team isn't best equipped to assist with setting up or troubleshooting email set ups.
Does Jane Websites host email?
No. Jane Websites does not offer email hosting or email services. We are a website host, so if you're looking to set up or manage email for your clinic, you'll need to look at your domain registrar or another platform to set up email.
Where can I set up email for my clinic?
Since Jane Websites doesn't host email, clinics typically go with one of two options. The first is setting up email hosting through the same provider where your clinic's domain is registered, since most domain registrars (Hover, GoDaddy, Squarespace, etc) include built-in email hosting. Managing your domain and email through the same provider is often the simplest approach. The second option is using Google Workspace or Hushmail as a standalone email solution.
Note
Since Jane Websites doesn't manage your email, any email-related records (like MX or TXT records) need to stay intact when you make DNS changes for your website. Removing or overwriting these by mistake can disrupt your clinic's email.
