If your site syncs with Jane, all your services automatically appear under the Services menu, either as a Services dropdown or as a Services page. If you don’t want every service displayed on Jane Websites, this guide shows you how to archive select services so they’re hidden from visitors.

Before you start

You’ll need Admin access and a Jane Websites subscription with a Jane integration to hide services from the Services menu or Services page.

How to Hide a Synced Service from Your Main/Navigation Menu

Follow these steps below to have control over which services appear under your Services menu.

  1. Click Admin in the top right corner of your website.
  2. Click on the Content section from the dropdown.
  3. In the left-hand content menu, click on Programs.
  4. Hover over the service (program) you want to hide.
  5. Click the three-dot icon on the right side of that service.
  6. Click on Archive. Do not choose Delete, as deleted items will resync and reappear after Jane updates.
  7. Once archived, the service will no longer be visible to site visitors, though you may still see it while logged in as an admin.

You’re done! That service is now hidden from your site's visitors, making sure that your main navigation menu is accurate, without removing anything permanently.

Note

If you archive a service instead of deleting it, the service stays hidden even after Jane syncs again. Deleting the service will allow the item to resync and reappear later.
