Your contact page heading structure will be one of the simplest on your website, but it still matters. A clear, well-organized contact page helps patients find your booking information quickly and gives Google the signals it needs to rank the page for branded searches. This guide walks you through how to set up the correct heading structure on your contact page so ready-to-book patients can find everything they need the moment they arrive.

Before you start

You will need Admin access to your Jane Websites dashboard to make these changes. Always follow the H1 to H2 to H3 order, so you should never skip levels, and never use more than one H1 on the page. You will need to repeat the individual post steps for every post you publish.

How to Set Your Contact Page H1

Your contact page H1 should make it immediately clear that this is the right place to book or get in touch.

  1. Once you're logged in to Jane Websites, navigate to your blog index page and click the Customize Header button on the hero block at the top of the page.
  2. Scroll till you reach the Override Heading field and set your H1 to "Contact & Booking Information" or a variation that includes your clinic name and location. For example: "Book Your Appointment at Whole Mind Wellness in Ottawa."
  3. Scroll till you reach the Override Subheading field. This Subheading field is regarded as an H2 and is an expansion of the H1 above it. Keep it simple and action-oriented. Learn more about H2s in the next section. For example: "Book online, call us, or stop by. We are here to help."
  4. Click the Save Custom Header button to save your progress.

You're all set! Your contact page now has a clear heading structure that helps patients find your booking information quickly and helps Google rank the page for branded searches.

Note

Your contact page heading structure should be simple and functional above all else. Patients who land here are ready to act and book, so keep your headings clear and direct.
