To ensure Jane Websites syncs properly with your Jane account, it's important to set up key areas in Jane first, before spinning up Jane Websites. This guide walks you through each of those steps, so your clinic name, services, treatments, disciplines, staff, and branding all transfer and sync smoothly to your website.
Before you start
You’ll need Full Access Staff Permissions (or higher) to your Jane account to make these changes.
How to Set Up Your Jane Account to Sync with Jane Websites
These steps will help you configure your Jane settings so all the right information ports to your website when you integrate your Jane account with Jane Websites.
- Enable Online Booking (even temporarily)
- From the Settings in the top blue bar in Jane, go to Online Booking.
- Toggle on Online booking allowed so Jane Websites can access your clinic’s public data for syncing.
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
- You can turn this off again after syncing is complete.
- Verify Your Clinic Info
- In Jane, go to Settings > Clinic Info.
- Confirm your clinic name and public-facing email and phone number are accurate.
- Hit the Save button after any changes.
- Check Your Location Settings
- Go to Settings > Locations, then click Edit.
- Verify the location name, description, address, and contact details.
- To ensure your map displays properly, retype your address and choose the Google-suggested version.
- Make sure the following boxes are checked: Display Location Address in Online Booking, Location Available to Be Booked Online.
- Click Save.
- Update Branding Colours and Logo
- Go to Settings > Branding.
- Choose your primary and secondary colors. Best practice: Use darker, saturated colors so white text is easy to read.
- Upload a horizontal logo (500px wide minimum) with a transparent background for the best results.
- Click the Save button when done.
- Add or Update Disciplines
- Navigate to Settings > Disciplines.
- Click Add Discipline button and select a category (e.g., Chiropractic, Other).
- Fill out the Name, Professional Title, and a clear description of the service.
- Make sure Display in Online Booking is checked.
- Click Create Discipline.
- Set Up Treatments
- Go to Settings > Treatments, Classes, & Group Appointments.
- Click the New Treatment button and configure:
- Treatment type (e.g., One-on-One or Group).
- Discipline it falls under.
- Treatment name, description, and availability.
- Booking visibility (make sure Available in Online Booking is selected).
- We recommend selecting No Staff Member to show treatments prominently on your booking page.
- Click the Update/Save Treatment button to save settings.
- Set Up Your Staff Profiles
- Navigate to Settings > Staff.
- For each staff member:
- Assign them to the correct disciplines and location(s).
- Add a profile photo and a professional bio.
- Ensure they are listed as available for online booking.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- To add new staff, click Add New Staff and fill in the required fields.
- Connect Jane to Jane Websites
- In Jane, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Under Jane Websites, click the Generate Free Preview button.
- Search for your Jane clinic name and select it from the search results to generate your preview site and begin customizing.
You’re all set to sync your Jane account with Jane Websites! By setting up disciplines, treatments, staff, and branding correctly, your website will accurately reflect what your clinic has to offer.

All information that appears on Jane Websites is pulled from what’s publicly available in your Jane Online Booking. If a service or practitioner isn’t showing up in Jane Websites, double-check that the service or practitioner is marked as available in online booking.
