You may be moving to another EHR or looking to have your website stand alone, and you'll want to remove the Jane sync or delete buttons that go to Jane Online Booking altogether. This guide walks you through stopping the sync between Jane and Jane Websites, removing booking links from your main navigation menu, and updating or booking buttons throughout your site. These steps help ensure your patients always land on the correct booking page.Â

Before you start
You'll want to make sure you have Admin access to your Jane Websites account to make these updates.
How to Stop the Jane SyncÂ
Follow the steps below for disabling your Jane sync for updating
- ClickâŻAdmin in the top right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown.
- Scroll down the left hand menu to the Jane Integration section.
- Uncheck all the boxes to fully disable the Jane sync.
- Click the Save Settings button to save your changes.
- Optional: If you want to entirely remove all traces of the Jane Sync, email support@janewebsites.com and we'll be able to go in and remove them from our side of things.

How to Remove Jane Online Booking from the Navigation MenuÂ
Follow the steps below for to edit or remove the Jane Online Booking button from your main navigational menu.
- ClickâŻAdmin in the top right corner, then select Menus from the dropdown.
- Scroll to the Book Now button at the bottom of the menu list.
- Click the threeâdot icon.
- If you're looking to edit your Booking Button, click Edit.Â
- In the link field, you can delete the Jane URL, and add a new EHR booking URL, or select another internal page from the Link to dropdown (for example, Contact).Â
- Optional: If you're looking to totally delete your Booking Button, click Delete.
- Click Save Link to save your progress.
How to Update Booking Buttons in Content BlocksÂ
Follow the steps below to edit or remove the Jane Online Booking button from your Content Blocks
- Navigate to any content block on your site that includes a Book Now button.
- Click the pencil icon to edit.Â
- Remove the Jane link.
- Add your new booking URL or use the Link to dropdown to link to another page.
- If needed, update the button text (e.g., change âBook Nowâ to âContactâ).
- Repeat these steps for every content block that contains a Jane Online Booking link.
- Click Update Block element button to save your progress.Â

If you are switching to a new booking platform, remember to update all booking buttons with the correct link. This ensures patients wonât accidentally land on a page you no longer use.
